Abstract:Palavras-chave: cissus, teste de biocompatibilidade, materiais biocompatíveis, plantas medicinais aBstRaCt: study of in vivo and in vitro biocompatibility of Cissus sicyoides L. -Vitaceae hydroalcoholic extracts in rats. Biocompatibility is the ability of a material to perform specific tasks when applied to living tissues without causing damage or injuries to it. Thus, this study aimed at determining the in vivo and in vitro biocompatibility of Cissus sicyoides L. -Vitaceae hydroalcoholic extracts. A total of … Show more
“…A biocompatibidade é apontada como a capacidade de um material exercer funções específicas quando aplicado em contato com tecidos vivos de determinado hospedeiro, não causando prejuízo ou danos ao mesmo. Testes para avaliar estas características são fundamentais no estudo de novas substâncias, em razão de que é necessário conhecer a reação tecidual inicial do contato destas com o meio orgânico interno (Estrela, 2018;Cavalcanti et al, 2013).…”

The present study describes the synthesis of non-isocyanate poly(azo-carbonate-urethane)s and characterization by FT-IR, NMR, MALDI, GPC and TG. Biocompatible properties were investigated by the liver, kidney and colon histological analyses.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
