Estudio de la textura del peloide marino del centro Thalasia (Murcia)

La cura termal incorpora desde antiguo el uso de peloides para tratamientos específicos que se integran en la cura complementando el uso de las aguas mineromedicinales. En los últimos años se han multiplicado los estudios científicos que apuntan magníficos resultados en los tratamientos de enfermedades reumáticas, dolores, infecciones de heridas, alteraciones dermatológicas y dermocosméticas, entre otras. Entre los objetivos que pretende el artículo está el definir qué entendemos por peloide, señalar los antecedentes históricos de su uso y abordar la diversa composición de los mismos, tanto en su fase sólida como líquida, así como sus características variables en función de dichos componentes.
