Abstract: The American mink is an invasive species throughout Europe where feral populations have become established in the natural environment due to escapes from fur farms or by intentional release. This study compares captive ranch mink with feral mink from nearby areas using basic biometric measures (weight, total length, body length and tail length) and the physical condition of individuals.
