Estrada Rural Não Pavimentada Como Fonte De Escoamento Superficial E Sedimento

Show more

“…The sediment production rates reported here were compared with those previously measured from other surfaces typical of rural areas in the Guarapuava region (Thomaz and Pereira, ; Table ). The average rainfall‐normalized sediment production rate from the unpaved road was only slightly lower (~19%, ns) than road erosion previously measured for unpaved roads at the micro‐plot scale (i.e.…”

“…As the simulation progressed, the sediment output diminished due to exhaustion of these easily erodible particles (Ziegler et al , ; Cao et al , ). The roadbed is configured as a limited‐detachment system; this behavior is typical of road experiments regardless of spatial scale (Arnáez et al , ; Cerdà, ; Jordán and Martínez‐Zavala, ; Jordán et al , ; Thomaz and Pereira, ). In addition, on (sub)tropical environments the unpaved road is probably the only rural landscape feature capable of producing excess infiltration runoff (i.e.…”
