Estrada Rural Não Pavimentada Como Fonte De Escoamento Superficial E Sedimento

Abstract

ResumoAs estradas não pavimentadas são responsáveis pelo aumento do escoamento superfi cial e produção de sedimento em vertentes e bacias de drenagem. Os objetivos deste estudo foram: a) mensurar o escoamento superfi cial e a produção de sedimento em estradas rurais não pavimentadas; b) avaliar o tamanho de partículas transportadas pelo escoamento superfi cial. Foi utilizado um microaspersor e uma chuva constante (115,5 mm/h) foi aplicada por trinta minutos em diferentes leitos de estradas. Conclui-se que a produção de sedimento foi alta nas estradas avaliadas 205,3 g/m 2 , assim como o escoamento superfi cial estável 72,2%. As características físicas dos trechos de estradas como: declividade, pavimento, idade da estrada e tráfego infl uência na disponibilidade de sedimento e no tamanho das partículas transportadas. A produção de sedimento no leito da estrada tendeu a exaustão durante a chuva. AbstractUnpaved roads are responsible for enhancing runoff and sediment on hillslopes and catchment. The objectives of this study were: a) to measure runoff and sediment production on unpaved roads, b) to assess the particles size carried out by the runoff. We used a microsprinkle. And a constant rain (115.5 mm/h) lasting for thirty minutes in different roadbeds was applied. It was concluded that the roads produces a high quantity of sediment 205.3 g/m 2 , as well as a high stable runoff coeffi cient of 72.2%. The physical characteristics of the roadbed as: slope, ground surface, period of the road construction and road traffi c has infl uence on the quantity and the sediment particles size transported by the runoff. The production of sediment in the roadbed tended to exhaustion during rainfall simulation.
