Abstract:The dominant factor determining chemical industry objects’ durability is the corrosive wear of the stretched reinforcement and the compressed zone of concrete. The article presents a methodology and results of a numerical assessment of the residual life of the reinforced concrete frame beams of an industrial building operating in an aggressive environment.
