Abstract:The paper provides an overview of research (analytical, numerical, and experimental methods) related to the stress state of artillery projectiles during movement through the barrel of the weapon. The characteristics of the 155mm HERA M549 and 155mm HE M795 projectiles, used in numerical simulations, are described.
