Abstract:Motivated by the importance of entropy functions in quantum data compression, entanglement theory, and various quantum information-processing tasks, this study demonstrates how classical algorithms for entropy estimation can effectively contribute to the construction of quantum algorithms for universal quantum entropy estimation.
