Estimation of metabolism of catecholamines in peripheral organs as an indicator of their desympathization under the influence of neurotoxins

Abstract: On the preclinical (early) and clinical stages of experimental model of Parkinson’s disease after administration of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3-6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP) neurotoxin to mice during 5 and 10 weeks was evaluated the toxic effect of MPTP, i.e. the catecholaminesand their metabolites content’s in the heart, receiving the most extensive sympathetic innervation.
