Estimation of Equivalent Viscous Damping Ratio for Prestressed Reinforced Concrete Beam in Cruciform Beam-Column Subassemblages

Abstract: An available expression to estimate an equivalent viscous damping ratio for a flexural beam within prestressed reinforced concrete (called as PRC) interior beam-column subassemblages is proposed empirically through regression analyses using previous test results for cruciform beam-column subassemblage specimens.
