Abstract:Dies with high thermal conductivity (TC) can not only speed up heat transfer but also improve the production efficiency of parts and extend the life of the dies. Taking advantage of the high axial TC of carbon fibers (C f ), thermal channels are established in the composite. To protect C f from being destroyed, C f was electroless plated with Cu to form copper-plated C f (C f -Cu). Pores impede heat conduction, and the TC of the matrix is corrected by Bruggeman's equation. C f -Cu has high anisotropic, and its… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
