Estimation of co-integration of the relationship between blood transfusion and iron deposits in thalassemia patients and study of the effects of some physiological factors

Abstract: Iron overload is the major cause of morbidity for thalassemia patients. Even non-transfused patients develop secondary iron overload, due to increased intestinal absorption of dietary iron.
