Abstract:The primary goal of this research was to identify the role of non-linear parameter estimation in clutch torque estimation for automotive applications. The benefit of this approach in estimating parameters of a system defined by a set of differential algebraic equations (DAEs) that represents, say, clutch torque profile is investigated. In addition, online implementation, albeit at a slow rate compared to control loop rates is demonstrated. This method of analytical DAE based estimation has significant advantag… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
