Abstract:Mangrove forests provide environmental, economic, and social benefits such as fish breeding, lumber production, water purification, recreation, education, and carbon sequestration. Mangroves are important organic carbon sinks, and there is a lot of interest in using them to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
