Esthesiometric evaluation of corneal analgesia after topical application of 1% morphine sulfate in normal horses

Abstract: Topical ophthalmic 1% morphine sulfate did not have a clinically significant analgesic effect on the corneal touch threshold of intact healthy equine corneas.
