Abstract: Background: Teamcare should, like all patient care, also contribute to evidence-based practice (EBP). Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) focusing on teamcare have been performed but no study has addressed its essentials. The multidisciplinary team (Fridlund et al., ; Körner, ) at this clinic consisted of a cardiologist who was a specialist in heart rhythm diseases (HRS) and two AF‐specialised nurses, who had a wealth of experience in AF and had worked with AF patients for several years.
