“…The plant samples were obtained from the Central Market of the city of Chachapoyas - Amazonas - Peru and taken to the Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering and Agricultural Sciences of the National University Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza of Amazonas in order to carry out the extraction process. In the laboratory, the essential oils were extracted by steam distillation in a semi-industrial stainless steel distiller, following the methodology described by Andrade et al [ 28 ]. After extraction, the essential oils were packaged in amber glass bottles and stored in a refrigerator at 8 °C.…”
