Essential hypertension

Abstract: Hypertension is a frequent, chronic, age-related disorder, which often entails debilitating cardiovascular and renal complications. Blood pressure is usually noted in combination with other cardiovascular risk factors. Diagnosis of hypertension increasingly relies on automated techniques of blood pressure measurement.
