Essai de caractérisation de la période d'activité du centre de production des Queyriaux (Puy-de-Dôme) à partir de la sigillée moulée / The new terra sigillata workshops of "Les Queyriaux" (Puy-de-Dôme) : determination of activity period whith moulded bowls

Abstract: Workshops known from pottery as a result of prospecting remain difficult to characterize. Such is the case, particularly, of terra sigillata workshops. Only the confrontation of study criteria of the terra sigillata collected, in particular decorated bowls, makes it possible to obtain reliable and coherent results. The case of « Les Queyriaux » (workshops of the Central Gaul group) is a good illustration of the problems one meets and the results one can obtain when following a rational approach.
