Espacialização Da Precipitação E Análises De Tendências Obtidas Através Do Satélite GPCC Para O Estado Do Acre

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the spatial distribution, behavior and trend of monthly and annual precipitation in the state of Acre, Brazil. Thus, the annual and monthly total precipitation data obtained by the Global Precipitation Climatology Center (GPCC) in the period of 36 years (1982-2018) served as the basis for this research. The pluviometric variation was studied with emphasis on the definition of precipitation classes in the annual and monthly scales. A descriptive statistical analysis of the rainfall time series data was performed, as well as the non-parametric significance tests of Mann-Kendall and Spearman. In the analysis regarding the monthly scale, the results indicated that there is seasonality in the precipitation, there are two well defined climatic seasons, one less rainy that occurs from May to October, and one rainy season that starts in the month of November and goes until April. Still, in relation to the monthly analysis, it was found that the month with the highest rainfall is March and the month with the lowest is July. The nonparametric tests showed an increase in the volume of precipitation in the annual scale, thus, still needing in-depth studies on the subject.
