“…Superficial thrombophlebitis manifesting as rounded lesions must be differentiated from other panniculitis with vascular involvement, especially erythema induratum of Bazin (EIB)/ nodular vasculitis (NV). 6,20,21 While some histopathological aspects of superficial thrombophlebitis and EIB/NV are similar, 22,23 a few elements may help to distinguish them.
