Errors in solving math problems based on newman type

Abstract: The research aims to identify the types of mistakes students make in solving math problems in straight-line equation materials based on Newman type. The study subjects were 34 students of Grade VIII G SMP Negeri 2 Baturraden. Data retrieval techniques using tests. The data is analyzed with the Newman stage.
