Error Analysis of Free Space Communication System Using Machine Learning

Abstract: Free space optical (FSO) communication offers huge bandwidth, license-free spectrum and a more secure channel. PIN diodes are normally used for detection, but avalanche photodiodes (APD) are preferred for detecting high-speed FSO signals in many applications. In the case of APD, the noise distribution is input-dependent Gaussian noise (IDGN) rather than input-independent Gaussian noise (IIGN). We investigate the error analysis using on-off keying (OOK) for various detection approaches. This paper proposes a ma… Show more

“…It is simpler to handle and properly dispose of waste when separated at the source, such as recyclables, hazardous items, and general debris. This aids recycling and trash reduction programs and promotes environmental sustainability [16][17][18][19].…”

“…However, waste management practices in Pakistan suffer from various issues, including a need for a trained workforce, unreliable data, and inadequate administration. Municipalities primarily govern solid waste collection, and private waste pickers charge households a monthly fee ranging from $0.71 to USD 19 for door-todoor waste collection services [11][12][13][14][15][16]. Homeowners and waste pickers segregate recyclable materials such as metal and plastic, then sold for income generation.…”
