“…The GQ includes six items such as, “I feel thankful for what I have received in life,” and “I sometimes feel grateful for the smallest things.” In the study by McCullough et al (2002) , confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) showed that a robust one-factor structure of the GQ existed, which was replicated in many other studies ( Froh et al, 2009 ; Yüksel and Oguz Duran, 2012 ; Caputo, 2016 ; Langer et al, 2016 ). Furthermore, McCullough et al (2002) found that the GQ was positively related to life satisfaction, affective well-being and prosocial traits, and negatively related to psychological symptoms and materialism.…”

“…Compared with the other two scales, the GQ has become the most widely used instrument for assessing dispositional gratitude in healthy populations, and is extensively used around the world. To our knowledge, the scale has been validated in many countries such as America, Italy, Chile, and Turkey ( Froh et al, 2011 ; Yüksel and Oguz Duran, 2012 ; Jans-Beken et al, 2015 ; Caputo, 2016 ; Langer et al, 2016 ). Therefore, the aim of the present research was validate the scale in a Chinese population.…”

“…Clinical trials have demonstrated that evaluation of QOL and making changes leads to treatment improvement, increasing survival in cancer patients. 26 It has been shown that numerous disease processes associated with CoQ 10 deficiency can benefit from CoQ 10 supplementation, including cancer. In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of CoQ 10 on QOL in breast cancer patients.…”

“…Following the steps outlined by Paap et al [ 14 ], we first established which domains of HRQL are most important to patients with COPD, using relevant literature (articles and existing questionnaires), as well as interviews with patients and HCPs [ 14 , 15 ]. Based on these findings, three generic domains/item banks from the PROMIS (Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System) framework were selected (fatigue, physical functioning, and ability to participate in social roles and activities) and a new COPD-specific domain/item bank (COPD-SIB) was developed [ 16 ]. This approach ensures comparability with other patient groups (generic domains), while providing additional sensitivity for measuring change within the specific patient group (disease-specific domain).…”
