We propose a new mechanism where both Dirac masses for the charged-leptons and Majorana masses for neutrinos are generated via quantum levels. The charged-lepton masses are given by the vacuum expectation values (VEVs) of the Higgs doublet field and that of a triplet field. On the other hand, neutrino masses are generated by two VEVs of triplet Higgs fields. As a result, the hierarchy between the masses for chargedleptons and neutrinos can be explained by the triplet VEVs which have to be much smaller than the doublet VEV due to the constraint from the electroweak rho parameter. We construct a concrete model to realize this mechanism with discrete Z 2 and Z 4 symmetries, in which masses for neutrinos and those for the muon and electron are generated at the one-loop level. As a bonus in our model, the deviation in the measured muon g − 2 from the standard model prediction can be explained by contributions of extra particle loops.Besides, the lightest Z 2 -odd neutral particle can be a dark matter candidate. The collider phenomenology is also discussed, especially focusing on doubly-charged scalar bosons which are necessary to introduce to occur our mechanism.

We study a class of three-loop models for neutrino mass in which dark matter plays a key role in enabling the mass diagram. The simplest models in this class have Majorana dark matter and include the proposal of Krauss, Nasri and Trodden; we identify the remaining related models, including the viable colored variants. The next-to-simplest models use either more multiplets and/or a slight modification of the loop-diagram, and predict inert N-tuplet scalar dark matter.

We propose a radiative neutrino-mass model by introducing 3 generations of fermion pairs E −ðNþ1Þ=2 E þðNþ1Þ=2 and a couple of multicharged bosonic doublet fields Φ N=2 ; Φ N=2þ1 , where N ¼ 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. We show that the models can satisfy the neutrino masses and oscillation data, and are consistent with lepton-flavor violations, the muon anomalous magnetic moment, the oblique parameters, and the beta function of the Uð1Þ Y hypercharge gauge coupling. We also discuss the collider signals for various N, namely, multicharged leptons in the final state from the Drell-Yan production of E −ðNþ1Þ=2 E þðNþ1Þ=2 . In general, the larger the N the more charged leptons will appear in the final state.
