Erosion of Oharai-Isohama Coast and Caving of Seawall of Oharai Aquarium

Abstract: 2 茨城県土木部河川課(〒310-8555 茨城県水戸市笠原町978番6) 3 一般財団法人土木研究センター(〒110-0016 東京都台東区台東1-6-4タカラビル) 4 海岸研究室(有)(〒160-0011 東京都新宿区若葉1-22 ローヤル若葉301) 茨城県の大洗磯浜海岸にある大洗水族館前には,1961年頃までは幅130 mもの砂浜が広がっていたが, 急速に侵食が進み,護岸が波に曝される状態となった.2015年10月には階段護岸の空洞化が始まって陥没 の危険性が高まり,2015年11月18日には階段護岸を強制的に崩落させねばならない事態となった.本研究 では,最終的に破壊に至った大洗水族館の護岸を実例として,護岸の被災原因について考察した.空中写 真とWorldView-2衛星画像を用いて大洗磯浜海岸の長期的な汀線後退状況を把握した上で,数回の現地踏 査とドローンによる低空(150 m)からの空中写真撮影により護岸の被災原因について考察した.
