“…In the OMD recommendations, plain nuts and seeds are not listed as a separate food group ( 9 ). To quantify the consumption of plain nuts and seeds as a valuable and recommended source of nutrients ( 20 ), they are presented separately in the current analysis ( Supplementary Table S2 ), while salted nuts were considered as unfavorable foods.
