Ergonomic Considerations in Product Design Through PLM Technologies

Abstract: This article presents an integration of a product design methodology with emphasis in ergonomics with PLM. The articulation requires a comparative overview of the management levels offered by both approaches. PLM focuses on procedural activities and task performance and supports the ergonomic design methodology into a project and process management level in which decisions and control claims a mayor role.
