“…Οι συµµετρικές οργανοκασσιτερικές ενώσεις συντίθενται µε σχετική ευκολία συνήθως µε την αντίδραση κατάλληλου αντιδραστηρίου Grignard, RMgX (R= οργανική οµάδας και Χ=Cl, Br, I) µε SnCl 4 [9,11,[18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27] σύµφωνα µε την αντίδραση 3. περίσσεια του αντιδραστηρίου Grignard. Έτσι από τη στιγµή που τα αντιδραστήρια Grignard είναι εµπορικά διαθέσιµα ή συντίθενται πολύ εύκολα, η µέθοδος αυτή είναι η περισσότερο χρησιµοποιούµενη.…”
