ERCC1 and claudin-4 expression in gastric cancer tumorogenesis and development have clinical and pathological relevance.

Abstract: Background: Gastric cancer is a significant health and social problem with a high risk of local recurrence. The goal of this study was to look at the immunohistochemistry expression of ERCC1 and claudin-4 in gastric cancer, as well as the relationship with clinicopathologic items and survival in gastric cancer, in order to see how these proteins affect progression and tumorogenesis.
