Eradication of HCV by direct antiviral agents restores mitochondrial function and energy homeostasis in peripheral blood mononuclear cells

Abstract: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) adopts several immune evasion mechanisms such as interfering with innate immunity or promoting T-cell exhaustion.
