SYNOPSISA method is presented for post-tensioned reinforced concrete structures whereby the effect of cable tension can be expressed as a distributed or concent rated load. The analysis thus becomes a simple matter of applying methods with which the designer is already familiar. The function of the post-tensioned "ires thus can be visualized easily.
