“…The FAB + mass spectra of a fresh sample of the solution from the 1:1 experiment showed the peak corresponding to the molecular ion of the complex [Hg(adgha) 2 ] + m/z 833 (M + , 8%), and two other peaks at m/z 815 (35) and m/z 797 (5) suggesting the formation of the [Hg(adgha)(ghbz)] + and [Hg(ghbz) 2 ] + complexes as a result of the loss of one and two water molecules, respectively.
