Abstract: ObjectiveDuchenne and Becker muscular dystrophies (DMD and BMD) are dystrophinopathies caused by variants in DMD gene, resulting in reduced or absent dystrophin. These conditions, characterized by muscle weakness, also manifest central nervous system (CNS) comorbidities due to dystrophin expression in the CNS.
