Epilepsy and bone health

Abstract: Data about an association between epilepsy, its treatment, and bone health are increasing in the literature. Comorbidities and lifestyle habits may also be associated with bone health. The medical care of people with epilepsy should include an evaluation of bone heath, and when necessary, protective/therapeutic measures should be taken.
