Epigenetics of Mitochondria-Associated Genes in Striated Muscle

Abstract: Striated muscle has especially large energy demands. We identified 97 genes preferentially expressed in skeletal muscle and heart, but not in aorta, and found significant enrichment for mitochondrial associations among them.
