Epigenetic Biomarkers for Human Sepsis and Septic Shock: Insights from Immunosuppression

Abstract: Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that occurs when the body responds to an infection damaging its own tissues. Sepsis survivors sometimes suffer from immunosuppression increasing the risk of death.
