Epidural infusion of bupivacaine and fentanyl reduces perioperative myocardial ischaemia in elderly patients with hip fracture – a randomized controlled trial

Abstract: Continuous epidural bupivacaine/fentanyl analgesic regimen, started preoperatively, reduces the amount of myocardial ischaemia in elderly patients with hip fracture.
