Epidemiology of hepatitis C virus infection in patients with renal disease.

Abstract: This study was carried out to determine the prevalence of hepatitis C virus (HCV) antibodies and the epidemiologic factors associated with HCV infection in patients with chronic renal failure before the onset of ESRD.
