Again by (32,33,34) observed a poor perception and behavior towards the use of sanitary pads during menstruation among adolescent school going girls which is similar to the result of this study, as they noted that lack of finance was responsible for non-usage of sanitary pads and hence the use of ether absorbent such as clothes .This was consistent with other studies carried out among the same population in developing countries (35,36,37,38 ).
