Abstract:Background: Fever, thrombocytopenia, hemolysis, pentad failing kidneys, anaemia, and neurological impairment has historically been used to describe bleeding as the blood syndrome “thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura” (TTP), a type of hemolytic anaemia caused by microangiopathy.
