Abstract:INTRODUCTION Rotaviruses are enteric pathogens causing acute, watery, dehydrating diarrhoea in various host species, including birds and mammals. Rotavirus is the cause for approximately 500,000 child deaths yearly, mainly in developing countries (Rajendran and Kang, 2014).
