Epicardial fat density, coronary artery disease and inflammation in people living with HIV

Abstract: Studies have shown an increased risk of coronary artery disease (CAD) in the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) population. Epicardial fat (EF) quality may be linked to this increased risk.
