EP33.04: Efficacy of saline infusion sonohysterography in the diagnosis of abnormal uterine bleeding in perimenopausal women: a study in Quetta, Pakistan

Abstract

The accurate diagnosis of the location and character of lesions detected by 3DTVS are significantly comparable with those detected by 2DSIS and hysteroscopy. Conclusions: This study showed that 2DTVS with power Doppler, 2DSIS, 3DTVS can be used in the detection of intrauterine lesions. The 3DTVS is significantly comparable with 2DSIS and hysteroscopy in characterisation and localisation of intrauterine lesions thus can be used in preoperative planning prior to hysteroscopy.
