Environmental sequencing of marine protistan plankton communities reveals the effects of mesoscale cyclonic eddy transport on regional protistan diversity in subtropical offshore waters

Abstract: Abstract. Mesoscale eddies which origin in Eastern Boundary Upwelling Systems (EBUS) such as the Canary Current System entrap nutrient rich coastal water and travel offshore while ageing.
