Environmental risk assessment of human pharmaceuticals in the European Union: A case study with the β‐blocker atenolol

Abstract: β-Adrenergic receptor blockers (β-blockers) are applied to treat high blood pressure, ischemic heart disease, and heart rhythm disturbances.
