Environmental reporting in the hydropower sector: analysis of EMAS registered hydropower companies in Italy

Abstract: Hydropower (HP) is a key source of renewable energy, but also poses significant environmental challenges, including habitat fragmentation, hydropeaking and perturbations of flow and sediment regime.
