“…It is more meaningful for practical engineering to add iron tailings powder directly into mortar or concrete. Generally, large-size iron tailings of 0.5~4.75 mm are used as concrete aggregate, Lv et al [6] employed iron ore tailing aggregates (IOTA) to replace normal aggregate (NA) in dam concrete. And chloride ion penetration, sulfate erosion and wear resistance tests showed that the IOTA concrete possess better ITZ and durability due to high strength and angle shape of IOTA.…”
