Environmental factors affecting akinete germination and resting cell awakening of two cyanobacteria

Abstract: Globally, cyanobacteria frequently cause blooms that outcompete other species in the waterbody, affecting the diversity, decreasing water exchange rates, and promoting eutrophication that leads to excessive algal growth.
