The presence of vegetation in urban spaces is a crucial indicator for describing the quality of life of city inhabitants. The lack of green areas can contribute, primarily, to an increase in the sensation of thermal discomfort during periods of intense heat, negatively impacting the health and comfort of residents. Thus, the aim of this article is to investigate the intrinsic relationship between the vegetative environment and human well-being, with a specific focus on the community of Alvorada Neighborhood in the municipality of Guanambi, Bahia. The evaluation of green areas was conducted based on the vegetation coverage index (VCI), population density, aerial photograph analysis, and the percentage of vegetation established by institutions, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 (good health and well-being), 11 (sustainable cities and communities), and 13 (climate action). Accordingly, this article sought to deepen the understanding of the relationships between the urban vegetation index and the quality of life of local residents, aiming to stimulate concrete actions and positive reflections in the Alvorada Neighborhood community. Therefore, the study addressed the delimited area in a way that provided the necessary foundation to highlight that the Vegetation Coverage Index (VCI) has a significant impact on the overall state of the population.

Национальный исследовательский Московский государственный строительный университет (НИУ МГСУ); г. Москва, Россия АННОТАЦИЯ Введение. В 2023 г. в мире зафиксирован рост случаев подтоплений городов. Количество ливневой воды многократно возросло, но в городах негде применить этот сверхштатный ресурс. Водочувствительный дизайн территорий должен стать приоритетным в планировке городов и обновлении нормативных документов градостроительной сферы в условиях глобального потепления. Материалы и методы. Приведенный анализ климатических данных территории исследования имеет ключевое значение при вычислении нормы полива для функционирования зеленой инфраструктуры в условиях города. Предложено рассмотреть вегетационный полив -наиболее важное и зарегулированное поливное мероприятие, которое жизненно необходимо всем растениям в городских условиях. Результаты. Управление ливневыми водами сократит затраты на полив и упростит содержание городских зеленых насаждений во время всего вегетационного периода. Предложенные изменения и дополнения нормативных документов Российской Федерации в области зеленой инфраструктуры смогут облегчить внедрение нового экосистемного подхода на практике. Рассмотрены световые условия для качественного функционирования зеленой инфраструктуры на территории исследования. Выводы. Водочувствительный дизайн городской среды позволяет технологическими средствами имитировать природные процессы, поддерживать природные территории в состоянии устойчивости за счет растений местной флоры, а также может быть естественным образом связан с семантическим образом места, передавать цвет технологиями зеленой инфраструктуры. Авторские биотопы являются устойчивыми технологическими решениями инженерной подготовки территории, разработаны в контексте духа места с использованием растений местной флоры на основе разработанных нормативных рекомендаций в целях новой концепции водочувствительного дизайна городской среды.
