Entropy generation from hydrodynamic mixing in inertial confinement fusion indirect-drive targets

Abstract: The increase in entropy from the physical mixing of two adjacent materials in inertial confinement fusion (ICF) implosions and gas-filled hohlraums is analytically assessed.
